How to use Nokia's ringtones composer.

First of all, check to see whether you have a composer function - it was usually included with older phones. If you don't, try our premium Nokia polyphonic ringtones or monophonic ring tones services and have tones sent straight to your phone via SMS or WAP.

Instructions for keypress codes:

• select Menu 

• scroll to Tones and select

• scroll to Composer and select.

• select an unused tone slot or an unwanted tone. Then press and hold the C button (next to you Nav key) to clear the slot. Then press select.

• Select a tone from  our free Nokia ringtones database and then punch the codes in

• Ensure you define the tempo - select "options", then scroll to tempo

• set the tempo as indicated on our ringtones codes output

Done! Now you can play, save, or choose clear screen and enter ringtone.

Nokia Ringtones Composer Tips: 

• ( )= hold key until a dot appears. 

• Commas are used to separate the notes, don't enter them

• Don't try to enter the notes in too quickly, they may not be properly registered.

•  

• The following keys represent the equivalent musical notes
  
  1: C
  2: D
  3: E
  4: F
  5: G
  6: A
  7: B
  8: Shortens note length
  9: Increases note length
  0: Insert a duration
  *: Sets octave
  #: Denotes a sharp note
  

• pressing and holding a note key shortens the duration by a half and is represented by a dot.

Once you have saved the ringtone, you need to select it as the default tone:

• Access the Tones menu and choose "select"

• Scroll to ringing tone and choose "select"

• Scroll to the ringtone you would like to use and choose "select"
